Corol Nelson Dobson, 79, of Luray, SC passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at his home.He was born in Brunson, SC on September 2, 1932. He was the son of the late Johnny and Nanny Dobson.He was retired from Globe Chemical Company. He was a graduate of Clemson College, Class of 1953. He attended the Luray Christian Church.He is survived by his son, Brigham (Tatiana) Dobson of Rock Hill, SC; his daughter, Sharon (Peter) Guyton of Columbia, SC; one brother, Ellis (Virginia) Dobson of Brunson, SC; one sister, Audrey Holley of Hampton, SC and grandchildren, Jesse Guyton, Jordan Guyton and Carter Dobson; a special niece, Rose Dobson Elliott; a special nephew, Alvin Dobson and special friends, Linda and JimmyWiggins, Betty and Sollie Prince and Chris Strickland.He was predeceased by his wife, Phyllis Estes Dobson; his son, Jesse Carter Dobson; his brothers, Lyle, Talmadge, Thomas and Harvey; his sister, Vivian Anderson.A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, April 20, 2012 at the Luray Christian Church, Luray, SC. The family will receive friends following the service at the Church.The family requests that memorial gifts are made to the Luray Christian Church, 90 Fitts Street, Luray, SC 29932 in memory of Corol Nelson Dobson.
