Craig Robert Stricker

Craig Robert Stricker, 71 of Bluffton, SC passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2013 in the Coastal Carolina Medical Center, Hardeeville, SC.He was born in Moriah, NY on November 28, 1941 to the late Martin and Violet Stone Stricker.He and his wife, Nelva moved to Bluffton in 1997 from Dallas, TX. He was retired from Dresser Industries after thirty years as a corporate pilot. He was a member of the Birdmen for fifty years and obtained his pilots license as a teenager. He was a Methodist; enjoyed traveling with his wife; enjoyed playing tennis; was an avid runner who ran ten miles per day and was a frequent marathon participant. He is survived by his wife, Nelva Gray Stricker of Bluffton; one son, Kurt Stricker (Nila) of Austin, TX; four grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Karan Jasper. He was predeceased by his daughter, Amy Smith.Funeral services and burial will be held at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas TX.
