Cynthia Parks Plumlee

Cynthia Parks Platts Plumlee, our beloved mother, passed from this life on June 19, 2025. She was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on May 8, 1945. She attended GPS and Chattanooga High School. She and her family moved to Hilton Head Island in 1977. Mom always loved walking on the beach and enjoyed the ocean. She also enjoyed the great weather of the Lowcountry.

She is predeceased by her parents, E.H. Parks and Beatrice Parks, and her brother, Terrance S. Parks. She is survived by her sons, Glenn H. Plumlee III, James H. Plumlee, and Mark E. Plumlee, a brother, Dale H. Parks (Eva), and many loved nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in the Fellowship Hall Chapel at 540 William Hilton Parkway in Hilton Head on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 11:00 AM. The Rev. Will Robinson will be officiating.
