Cynthia T. WhitmanRidgeland, SCCynthia Alice Turner Whitman, 40, passed away Monday, May 11, 2009 at Coastal Carolina Medical Center in Hardeeville, SC. She was born on January 22, 1969 in Rochester, N.Y. to William H. Turner, Jr. and Camille Saxon Turner. She was interested in Criminal Justice and she loved and rescued neglected animals. She was a member of Advent Christian Church.She is survived by her parents, William H. Turner, Jr. and Camille Saxon Turner of Ridgeland, SC; one son, Bobby Ray Reed of Hampton, SC; one daughter, Brittany Camille Reed of Hampton, SC; two brothers, Randy Turner of Hilton Head Island, SC and Jeffrey Turner of Greenville, SC. She was predeceased by her brother, Kenneth Scott Turner. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 16, 2009 at Advent Christian Church, West Main Street in Ridgeland, SC with entombment in the Ridgeland Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6 til 8 pm, Friday, May 15, 2009 at Sauls Funeral Home of Ridgeland, 310 W. Adams Street, Ridgeland, SC.
