David Charles Skinner

David Charles Skinner of Bluffton, SC passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday morning, July 7th. He was 60 years young, and his family will miss him greatly.

David was retired, having served in the US Army as a Medic, and spent over 35 years in a career as a construction and painting site foreman for commercial and residential builders.

He is survived by his daughter, Rachel Joyella Quinn, 30, and his brothers, Michael Skinner, 66, Richard Skinner, 63, and Jeff Skinner, 61. David's many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews are too numerous to name but, needless to say, in the Skinner family, David's legacy is of a large and well-lived life.

A service celebrating his life will be held at a future date in David's hometown of Hagerstown, MD.

The family did want to extend particular thanks to the wonderful folks at the R Bar in Bluffton - Brittney, Jamie, Laurel, Amy, Nick, Dan, Tanya, Ben, and Jess -  for the wonderful service and friendship they have given David and their dog Rudy. Almost every day David and Rudy enjoyed lunch and/or dinner on their outdoor patio. David and Rudy always felt they were the two most welcome dogs, human and canine, in the world.

The family is grateful for the friendship David enjoyed here for the past year. We all will miss our Charlie Brown!
