Dean Louis Snow

Dean Louis Snow, age 81, of Sun City Hilton Head, Bluffton, SC died Sunday October 15, 2017 at Hilton Head Hospital. He was born in Beloit, WI on October 16, 1935, the youngest of four children. He was preceded in death by his Father Harold and Mother Dorothy (Binger) Snow, two brothers, Arthur (Maxine), Richard (Cleone), and a sister Margorie (John) Duda. Dean married his high school sweetheart on June 1, 1957 in Beloit, WI and they resided in West Allis, WI. He worked for the Krambo Food Company as a meat cutter and took classes at Marquette University. Dean worked and lived in the Milwaukee, WI area working for the Kroger Co. after it acquired Krambo and was eventually transferred to Cincinnati, OH in 1971. He had a successful 23 year career with Kroger, ultimately leaving there as a Zone Manager. His career in the meat industry took him to Omaha, NE as a National Sales Manager. He returned to Cincinnati, Ohio and retired from the John Morrell Co. as a National Sales Manager. Following retirement Dean moved to Sun City, Hilton Head, SC with his wife of 60 years. He was a golf enthusiast, avid Green Bay Packers fan, loved music and always had a good joke and quick laugh. He attended the Lowcountry Presbyterian Church in Bluffton, SC. He is survived by his his wife Helen J. Snow(Hutton), daughter Susan (Snow) Molle of Texas and son Jeffrey A. Snow of Bluffton, SC, and two grandsons, Steven and Matthew Molle. A Memorial Service will be November 10, 2017 at 3 pm at Sauls’ Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd, Bluffton, SC 29910. Celebration of life and reception will be held immediately following at the Lakehouse, Bayside Room, 1251 Sgt. William Jasper Blvd, Sun City. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association, Doctors Without Borders or Shriner’s Hospital.
