Deborah G. Bolster

Deborah G.(Buma) Bolster, 74, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2013. She was married to Philip W. Bolster, deceased 2011. She is survived by her son, Steven and his wife Casey Bolster of Vienna, VA., and her daughter Karen and her husband Yale Bray of Hilton Head, SC; one sister, Nancy L. Buma Baker of Petersham, MA and one brother, Richard G. Buma of Milford, MA. Deborah received her Register Nurse from Worcester Memorial Hospital, MA. She started her career as a school nurse in the Lenox, MA school system. She then moved on to the Red Cross, where she was a pioneer for conducting HIV/AIDS awareness and education within the Western MA school systems. Finally, Deborah finished her career as the Director of Nurses at senior living, Kimball Farms in Lenox, MA. Debbie and Phil then retired to Hilton Head Island, SC in 1999 where they shared their love of living near the ocean within a seaside community. During her retirement, she won two senior state tennis championships.
