Dennie Mike, 78 of Okatie, SC passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2010 in the Beaufort Memorial Hospital, Beaufort, SC.He was born in Ridgeland, SC on May 9, 1932. He was the son of the late Phoenix and Lilla Fripp Mike.He was retired from Pratt-Whitney Aeronautics. After retirement he enjoyed working on small engines. He attended Community Bible Baptist Church in Beaufort. He was a US Army veteran.He is survived by his wife, Sadie Mike of Abbeville, SC; one son, Timothy Mike; one daughter, Kia Mike; two brothers, George (Dorothy) Pinckney of Okatie, SC and Felix Mike of Henderson, Nevada; six sisters, Rachel (Arthur) Boyd of Okatie, SC; Della Thompson of Philadelphia, PA; Margaret Mike of Savannah, GA; Priscilla (William) Hall, Annie Mike and Nettie Dove, all of Philadelphia, PA. He was predeceased by one brother, Smith Mike.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, July 15, 2010 in the Sauls Funeral Home Chapel, 310 W. Adams St., Ridgeland, SC with burial at 1:30 pm in the Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC.
