Dennis James Becker

Dennis James Becker, 69, of Bluffton, SC died June 23, 2013 at Coastal Carolina Medical Center in Hardeeville, SC. He was born on August 1, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois the son of the late Frank and Vera Jaros Becker. He was an US Marine Corps Veteran. He was an Electrical Engineer and had lived in the Bluffton area for 9 years coming from Foxboro, MA. He was a former Commander of the American Legion and a Crossing guard with the Bluffton Police Department. He was a Christian and a member of the Church of the Cross. He is survived by his wife, Helen Becker; son Jamie (Kathleen) McKnight; daughter Kristie McKnight; 1 brother Richard Becker; and 4 grandchildren Bailey, Patrick, Brendan, and Morgan. A visitation will be held at 10am, Friday, June 28, 2013 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton with a graveside service following at 12 noon at Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary Street, Beaufort.
