Dennis Snyder

On Tuesday, September 1, 2020, Dennis Snyder passed away at home at age 80 in Bluffton, South Carolina.

Dennis was born on June 14, 1940 in Denver, Colorado to Irving George and Florence Kistler Snyder. Dennis was preceded in death by his brother David and is survived by his wife of 30 years, Carol Snyder, brother Irving G. Snyder, jr, his three children Katherine, Benjamin, and Matthew, and two step-children Greg andJeffrey. Dennis was blessed with nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Dennis was a graduate of Lawrenceville Preparatory School, Yale University, and Harvard University. Dennis was an executive at Rayonier Paper and Pulp.

Dennis was known as “the finest gentleman ever met” with a perpetuate smile and dry wit.
