Deweese Weaver

Deweese Weaver, 78, of Hilton Head Island, SC passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017 as a result of an accident.

Ms. Weaver was born December 10, 1938 in Sylvania, GA to the late Norman P. Weaver and Earleen Boyd Weaver. She was a well-known horse-trainer and a Christian. She loved the beach, drinking coffee, and riding her bicycle. She also enjoyed painting landscapes in watercolors and acrylics.

Ms. Weaver is survived by her sons, Franklin Smith (Brett K. Smith) of Springfield, GA and Blake Smith (Mary Ann) of Round Oak, GA; brothers, Stanley Weaver (Lillian) of Sylvania, GA and Norman Weaver (Geraldine) of Newington, GA; sisters, Marian Swain of Atlanta, GA, Marjorie Williams of Sylvania, GA, Debra Reddick Porter of Hilton Head Island, SC, and Francis Weaver of Sylvania, GA; and four grandchildren, Montana Smith, Audrey Smith, Josie Smith, and Christopher Smith.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd, Bluffton. Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton is assisting the family with arrangements.
