Dewey Leon Pritchard

Dewey Leon Pritchard, 78,of Bluffton, SC passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at his home.He was born in Memphis, TN and raised in Isola, MS. He was a US Diplomat to Italy. He was an Economist for the US Department of Agriculture. He was a US Navy Lt. Commander and retired from the Navy Reserve. He was a member of the Sun City Veterans Association.He is survived by his wife, Nancy Inman Pritchard of Bluffton, SC; two sons, Glenn R. (Sarah) Pritchard of Orlando, FL and Timothy J. (Melinda) Pritchard of Plano, TX; one daughter, Gail E. Pritchard of Arlington, VA; three grandchildren, Jake, Reece and Mitchel Pritchard and two cousins, Gerald (Spooky) and Janice Bearden of Mississippi.Christian Burial Rites will be held at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to the ALS Foundation, 1064 Gardner Road, Suite 101, Charleston, SC 29407.Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton, SC is assisting the family with their arrangements.
