Diane Vala (Frederick) Keeble

Diane Vala Keeble (née Frederick), 80, passed away at her home in Bluffton, SC on March 2, 2021. Diane was born on June 7, 1940 to Gladys and Alfred Frederick in Melrose, MA. Diane was a force of nature and together with her husband built a successful gourmet specialty shop and catering business on Marco Island, FL. Diane was a graduate of Edison Community College. She greatly enjoyed spending summers in Maine and New Hampshire.

Diane is predeceased by her parents, Gladys and Alfred; her beloved sons, John “Jackie” Mello and Philip Mello; and grandson, Richard A. Cribbie. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Donald Keeble; her sister, Donna Russo and her husband James; her daughters, Donna Mello and Marissa Petschull; 7 grandchildren, Alana, Angelia, Andrea, Alyssa, Ava, Oliver and Lydia; and great-granddaughter, Mia.

At Diane’s request, no services will be held. The family kindly asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Crescent Hospice in Bluffton, SC.
