Dolores Litchey, age 83, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at her daughter's home in South Carolina. Dolores, a retired Times Leader employee, graduated from James M. Coughlin High School and lived most of her life in the Wilkes-Barre area.
Her greatest joys in life were her family, fishing and crabbing, playing cards and games, and crocheting. She will be remembered by those who loved her for her great sense of humor and her ability to make people smile and laugh.
She left behind three daughters, Susan L. Bigus of Panama City Beach, FL, Jennifer Bigus and her husband Joe of Hilton Head, SC, and Dawn E. Litchey of Wilmington, DE; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Litchey; her son, Michael P. Litchey; two grandsons, Christopher D. Robinson and Adam M. Rebarchak; her parents, Josephine and Walter Yagiello; her sister, Rosalyn Fazzi; and her son-in-law, Ron Bigus.
