Donald David Marcy Jr.

Donald David Marcy Jr., age 60, husband of Kelly Marcy passed away at the Medical University of Charleston, SC on June 30, 2018. David was a resident of Beaufort. David was born in Indianapolis, IN on January 13, 1958. His parents were the late Donald David and Betty Lou Tuley Marcy Sr. David was a master carpenter formerly owning Family Home Builders and was now employed with the Joinery Group. He was the owner-operator of Kooky Mooky’s Restaurant of Downtown Beaufort. David enjoyed hunting and fishing with his children and grandchildren. He was affectionately known as ‘Dadada’ to his grandchildren. In addition to his wife, David is survived by his son, David Hunter Marcy (Amy); his daughters, Mikal Suzanne Qualls (Dustin) and Cally Lou Garcia (Javier) all of Beaufort; his brothers, Johnny Marcy of Millington, TN and Robert Marcy of Memphis, TN; his sister, Donna Marcy of California; his beloved grandchildren, Olivia, Deacon, Levi, Judah, Bootsie, Darla, Woods, Elijah, Jonah, Gideon. David’s Celebration Of Life will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, July 6, 2018 at the Praise Assembly, 800 Parris Island Gateway, Beaufort, SC with burial to follow in Lowcountry Memorial Gardens, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton.
