Donald Skau

Donald Skau, 90, of Hilton Head Island, SC passed away Sunday, April 17, 2026.

Donald was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 24, 1935 to the late Gordon and Mary Skau. He graduated from City College, NYC, in 1956 and worked as an electrical engineer for AT&T for 26 years. Donald loved ballroom dancing with his wife, Louise, for 30 years.

Donald was in the Veterans Club in Sun City Hilton Head and a member of the bicycle club. He enjoyed golfing, mahjong, shag, and bocce ball.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his brothers, Gordon and Robert. He is survived by his loving wife, Louise, and his sisters, Mary and Margaret.

A memorial mass will be held at 10:30 am, Monday, May 4, 2026 at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 31 St. Gregory Dr., Bluffton. The family will receive friends beginning at 3:00 pm, Sunday, May 3, 2026 until the prayer service begins at 4:00 pm, at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton.
