VanCurenRidgeland, SCDonald Robert VanCuren, 74, passed away Monday, March 12, 2012 at Coastal Carolina Medical Center in Hardeeville, SC.He was born in New York on August 12, 1937 to Marian Bates VanCuren and the late Earl VanCuren.He was a Custodian for the Ridgeland office of the S.C. Department of Motor Vehicles; loved hunting, fishing and being outdoors.He is survived by his mother, Marian Bates VanCuren of New York; his wife, Elda L. VanCuren of Ridgeland, SC; three sons, Donald R. (Clarice) VanCuren and Allen M. VanCuren, both of Ridgeland, SC; Charles E. (Kristin) VanCuren of Beaufort, SC; one brother, Lewis VanCuren of California; two sisters, Charlotte (Roger) Smith of New York and Alberta VanCuren of California; grandchildren, Justin Wright; Alexandria VanCuren, Zachary VanCuren, Justin Vaigneur, Kayla Horton, Autumn Vaigneur, Sophia Vaigneur, Stephanie Self and Justin Vaigneur, Sr.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Sauls Funeral Home Chapel inRidgeland with burial in the Ridgeland Cemetery.
