Donna Kay (Green) Wolin

Donna Wolin, 65, of Bluffton, SC passed away Friday, April 21, 2023 at her home.

Donna was a kind and caring soul, passionate artist and friend to all. She was born November 23, 1957 to the late Willard and Nadine Green in Denver, CO, where she grew up. Donna married her late husband, Rob, in 1982 and raised her two boys, Spence and Mitch, in Denver until 1995, spending a short 2 years in Minnesota and settling in Deerfield, IL in 1997. Donna relocated Bluffton in 2022 to pursue her passion for art and with her new community, after many years as a caregiver to her children and baker at Didder Farms in Buffalo Grove, IL.

Donna is survived by her sons Spence (Emily) and Mitch (Laurel); sisters of Barbara (Gordon) David and Brenda (Michael) Kluherz; fond sister-in-law of Bruce (Joanne) Wolin, Debbie Golden, Kenny Golden and Beth Levine; special aunt of many; treasured friend of Laynie Miller and so many others.

A small private funeral service was held at 11:00 am, Thursday, April 21, 2023 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd, Bluffton. The family will host two celebration of life events in Chicago and Denver in the near future to receive friends and family
