Doris Faye Minard

Doris Faye Minard, 79, of Hilton Head, SC passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 7, 2015. Doris was a former resident of Parkersburg, WV and a graduate of Camden Clark Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse for more than forty years, mostly in emergency care. She was enjoying her retirement in Hilton Head, SC. Doris was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be greatly missed by family, friends and her faithful Corgi, Shadow. In addition to her parents, Ferrell Walter Rylant and Elda Costlow Rylant, Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony "Tony" Minard; daughter, Leeanne Minard; and brother, Walter Rylant. She is survived by her son, Anthony Joseph Minard of Hilton Head, SC; brothers, Dean Rylant of Cool Ridge, WV and Joe Rylant of Ghent, WV; sisters, Leatrel Smith of Beaver, WV and Sue Stone of Columbia, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews. A private memorial and entombment will take place at Sunset Memory Gardens and Mausoleums in Parkersburg, WV.
