PlewesRidgeland, SCDoris Virginia Nettles Plewes, 83, widow of David William (Duck) Plewes, Jr. passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Coastal Carolina Medical Center in Hardeeville, SC.She was born in Ridgeland, SC on August 21, 1928 to the late Lewis Nettles and Linner Dean Nettles.Mrs. Plewes loved the Atlanta Braves; enjoyed working search-a-word puzzles; loved fishing and she loved her family. She was a homemaker.She is survived by her son, Mikie Plewes of Ridgeland, SC; two sisters, Hazel Rowell and Wilma Jean McGill, both of Ridgeland, SC.Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm, Friday, May 18, 2012 at the Great Swamp Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
