Dorothy Baldree

Dorothy Baldree, 67 of Hardeeville, SC and widow of Billy Baldree passed away at her home on Monday, August 15, 2016.

Dorothy was born on October 24, 1948 in Pelzer, SC to the late Harry James Welborn and Sarah Elizabeth Spearman Welborn. Dorothy was a Cashier for Food Lion; a member of the Robertville Baptist Church; devout Christian; loved sewing, crochet, talking to people and making them happy. She loved playing video games with her grandchildren; she was a great story teller and loved flowers.

She is survived by her daughters, Melissa Ann Miller (Jack) of Bluffton, SC, Sharon Lee Banks-Vigil (Sam) of Cochran, GA; Elizabeth Dawn Baldree of Hardeeville, SC and Shannon Michelle Dixon (Sean) of Huddleston, VA; her brother, Gary Mark Welborn of Saudi Arabia; and her grandchildren, Andrew (Peanut), Christopher (Little Hero), Brittany (Brit-Brit), Sarah (Belle), Nikki (Noodle), Christy Leigh (Doodle Bug), W. Ashley, Amanda (Bubbles); great grandchildren, Alieyah (Lee Lee), Ryan (Little Man), Dakato (Monkey) and Emily (EM). Dorothy was predeceased by her brother, Harry James Welborn Jr. and her sister, JoAnne Welborn.

The family will receive friends 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W. Adams St., Ridgeland. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Sauls Funeral Home of Ridgeland with burial in Robertville Cemetery, 26 Robertville Dr., Robertville, SC. Sauls Funeral Home of Ridgeland is assisting the family with arrangements.
