Dorothy Mae Fallon

Dorothy Mae Fallon, age 78, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 13th, 2018 at 1:30am at Coastal Carolina in Hardeeville.

She was born April 26, 1940 in  Blue Ash, Ohio to Virginia and John Rick. She graduated from nursing school and worked in the field for over 45 years. She was a pioneer nurse at the time when the nursing field was developing. She married James J. Fallon on August 26, 1967 in Michigan. Dorothy displayed a wonderful knack for solving problems. She truly loved her family; chatting with her children daily. Through her kindness, Dorothy had an uncanny ability to reach people in a positive manner. Dorothy was a devoted mother. She enjoyed reading. She was known to her family as a positive person who always took the time for others and listened with empathy.

She will be greatly missed by her husband, her four children- Ellen, Kathy, Jim, and Patrick, her daughter-in-law Sophia, her son-in-law Matthew, her grandchildren- Joah, Isabella, and Ezra, her brothers, as well as the neighbors who knew her.
