Dorothy Griner

Dorothy Griner, 83, widow of Johnnie Whitman Griner, died Friday, January 10, 2014 at her home in Early Branch, SC. She was born in Varnville, SC on September 21, 1930 to the late Ernest Tindal and Edna Thomas Tindal. She was a homemaker; member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church; loved gardening and feeding the hummingbirds. She is survived by her son, Johnnie Griner, Jr.(Celeste) of Grays, SC; daughters, Cathy Lewis of Ravenel, SC; Gloria Crosby (Barney) of Grays, SC; brother, Allen Tindal (Jean) of Ridgeland, SC; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Edison Tindal and sister, Lucille Heddon. A private memorial service will be held.
