Dorothy (Dot) Lois McGarvey Martin, 82, of Bluffton, SC died Monday, March 28, 2011 at her Rabbit Island home, Pinckney Colony, surrounded by family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Josiah T. and Lois Graves McGarvey, and her husband, Albert Gallatin Martin (Lupe). Dot graduated from Ridgeland High School and attended Anderson Junior College, Anderson, SC. A former resident of Hardeeville and member of Town Council, she and her late husband were the original owners of Hester
