Dorothy I. Wintz

Dorothy Irene Wintz, 77, born in Huntington, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2026, in Bluffton, South Carolina.

Dorothy loved gardening and flowers, trips to the beach, and attending NASCAR races.

She is survived by her children, Lisa Allen and Chad Wintz; her grandchildren, Jennifer Wintz, Taylor Warren (Allen), and Trey Allen; many great-grandchildren; her siblings, David Kendrick and Mary Holton; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester L. Wintz; her mother, Freda Lambert; her stepfather, Louie Lambert; her father, Billie Kendrick; and her brother, Danny Kendrick.

Per Dorothy’s wishes, a private family service will be held at a later date.
