Douglas Jay Fernung

Douglas Jay Fernung, 46, of Bluffton, SC died June 1, 2013 at his home. He was born on April 8, 1967 in Elwood, Indiana to David and Linda Myers Fernung. He loved golfing, fishing, and living in the Lowcountry. He was a member of the APA Pool league, was an avid South Carolina Gamecocks fan, and enjoyed spending time on the river. He was in the tool and die industry and worked for Precision Machine of Savannah, Georgia. He is survived by his parents, 2 brothers, and 1 niece and 1 nephew. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:30pm, Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Road Bluffton with burial following at Lowcountry Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:30pm until the hour of the service.
