Douglas Daniel Lammy

Douglas Daniel Lammy, age 51, passed away on Sunday, July 6th 2014. He was born April 10, 1963 in Detroit, Michigan. Doug grew up in Berkley, Michigan. He attended Berkley High School where he excelled in academics and athletics. He graduated in the class of 1981. He attended Central Michigan University, where he studied computer programing with a minor in psychology. He moved to Hilton Head Island in 1986, where he worked in the printing industry for most of his career.He is survived by his wife Patricia Lammy of 23 years. They have two children, Taylor Elizabeth Lammy (21), and Jordan Daniel Lammy (19). His two brothers, Michael Lammy of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Dr. Jeffrey Lammy of Greenville, SC, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was the son of Georgina Kimbell of Hilton Head Island and Robert Lammy of Rochester Hills, Michigan. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 10th, 2014 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church in Bluffton, South Carolina at 10:30am. Donations can be made to The American Heart Association.
