Dr. Frank L. Hart

Dr. Frank L. Hart, 79, of Bluffton, passed away peacefully at home on May 6, 2026. Frank proudly served in the United States Army Medical Corps as a Captain from 1974 to 1976 and then the Foreign Service from 1978 to 1984, before dedicating his life to practicing internal medicine on Hilton Head Island. Frank was deeply committed to his community; he devoted countless hours to volunteer medical work.

Frank loved golfing, reading, aviation, and spending time with his family. He was fun-loving, warm-hearted, and always had a great joke to share. His kindness, generosity, and gracious spirit touched all who knew him. He made you smile - always.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Volunteers in Medicine Hilton Head Island in honor of Frank’s lifelong commitment to helping others.

Services will be held at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton on Friday, May 15, 2026 at 3:00 pm.
