Duane Glenn Milton

Duane Glenn Milton of Bluffton, SC died Thursday, March 8, 2012. He was married to Margaret Milton for 50 years. He was born in Kearney, Nebraska. He graduated from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. He served in the Army, and was stationed at Brooke Army Hospital, San Antonio, TX and at Hunter Army Air Field, Savannah, GA. He was a Doctor of Optometry, and practiced in New Hope, Minnesota for 32 years.Duane's survivors include his wife, Margaret of Bluffton, SC, son, Daniel (Jen) Milton of Lexington, KY, daughter, Angela Greeno of Cedar Rapids, IA, son, Douglas (Katie) Milton of Zimmerman, MN and five grandchildren, Tessa Milton, Charlotte Milton, Cameron Greeno, Kyan Greeno and Jacob Milton.He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed by his family.In his long battle with kidney disease, we want to thank Dr. Michael Wilkowski, and Dr. Rebecca Sentman of Savannah, GA. We want to thank the staff at Marshlands Dialysis for the wonderful care given to Duane.A graveside service will be at 11:00 am, March 15, at the Beaufort National Cemetery.
