Eddie Eargle Davis

Eddie E. Davis, 70 of Ridgeland, SC passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah, GA. He was born in Orangeburg, SC on May 28, 1943 to the late Eddie Holly Davis and Lillie Bell Nettles. He was a surveyor for the SC Department of Transportation. He was a Methodist. He enjoyed his grandchildren, playing guitar and keyboard, singing and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Mason Davis of Ridgeland, SC; two sons, Steven Randolph Davis (Holly) of Ridgeland, SC and Jamie E. Davis (Tammy) of Grays, SC; one brother, Arthur Paul Davis (Betty) of Orangeburg, SC; one sister, Latrelle Steedly (Leonard) of Ridgeland, SC; five grandchildren, Taylor Lee Davis, Jason Davis, Ashley Nicole Davis, Brandon Davis and Alex Davis and one great grandchild, Chevy Davis. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, May 17, 2014 in the Great Swamp Baptist Church, Ridgeland, SC with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 til 8, Friday evening, May 16, 2014 at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W. Adams St., Ridgeland, SC. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, May 17, 2014 in the Great Swamp Baptist Church, Ridgeland, SC with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 til 8, Friday evening, May 16, 2014 at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W. Adams St., Ridgeland, SC.
