Edith Alieen Phillips Rhodes

Edith Alieen Phillips Rhodes, 95, of Ridgeland, SC and widow of James Roland Rhodes Sr. passed way on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at her home.She was born in Robertville, SC on August 30, 1914. She was the daughter of the late Jesse Hamilton and Alieen Smith Phillips.She worked for the Ridgeland Dress Factory, Deerfield Sand and later with her husband who was the former Treasurer of Jasper County and State Farm Agent. She was a very faithful member of Ridgeland Baptist Church. She was a member of the Dorcas Sunday School Class, the Adult Senior Choir, the WMU group for both the church and the Savannah River Baptist Association. She was a member of the Ridgeland Baptist Church History Committee and served on the church history book committee that published
