Edward B. Dupuis

Edward B. Dupuis, 78 years old of Bluffton, Sun City, SC passed away peacefully at Hilton Head Hospital on Monday, January 26, 2015. He was the husband of the late Jo Beth "Jodie" (Strothers) Dupuis. He and Jodie relocated to the Bluffton area in 2001 and collaborated to found the May River Theatre. Ed was born and raised in Rhode Island. He was a graduate of the University of Rhode Island, Class of 1958. Prior to retirement he was an Executive Vice President of Sales for multiple building and roofing companies. He is survived by his son Douglas and his wife Melissa of Wilmington, NC and his son David and his wife Elke Burling of Altadena, California. He is also survived by four granddaughters, Rebecca and Katie Dupuis of Wilmington, NC and Chloe and Danika Dupuis of Altadena, CA. He is also survived by his sister; Donna (Dupuis) Policastro of Providence, Rhode Island. A private Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the May River Theatre, P.O. Box 1674, Bluffton, SC 29910.
