Edward D. Grieve

Edward D. Grieve, 90, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 at his home.

Ed was born December 1, 1930 in Pittsburgh, PA.  He served in the U.S. Army in Europe from 1950 - 1952.

He was in the sales business most of his life and owned a moving and storage company when he lived in Cary, N.C.  before moving   to Sun City in 2002. He served in various roles in Sun City Veterans Association becoming Commander in 2007.  He was well known in the real estate community and always got SCVA an advertisement for its Memorial and Veterans Day program books. He also was very active in the Sun City Community Theatre over several years.  He had a strong, powerful voice and enjoyed singing the National Anthem.

He is survived by his wife, Donna, his son, James, and his sister, Gerry. in CA.  Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
