Edward Michael Kovacs "Pappy" Jr.

Edward Michael Kovacs, Jr., "Pappy", 67, died Sunday, September 30, 2007 at his home in Hilton Head Island, SC. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA on January 12, 1940. He was the son of the late Edward Michael and Clara Dobozy Kovacs.He was employed by Phillips Shoe Company and former owner of Kovacs Chrysler in High Point, NC. He was the former General Manager of Heritage Motor Car Company. He was an avid sports fan. He attended every Bluffton Bobcats game. He was a charter member of the LowCountry Presbyterian Church. He was a US Army veteran who served in Korea.He is survived by his wife, Carole Lee Kovacs of Bluffton, SC; one son, Randy Kovacs of Bluffton, SC; one daughter, Lee Michelle Kovacs of Bluffton, SC; one brother, Nicholas R. (Sherry J.) Kovacs of Cleveland, OH and one grandson, Kenneth Wesley Kovacs of Bluffton, SC.Memorial services will be held at 6:30 pm, Thursday, October 4, 2007 in the LowCountry Presbyterian Church, 10 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton, SC. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Hilton Head Humane Society, P.O.
