He was born in Ridgeland, SC on March 19, 1944 to the late Comsee and Laura Smalls Taylor. He was a Long Shoreman and a US Army Veteran.He is survived by two sons, Cleveland J. Williams of Beaufort, SC and Jeffrey Flamer of Philadelphia; two daughters, Monica Brown of Beaufort, SC; Sheril Brown of NC; three brothers, Benjamin Smalls of Savannah, GA; Frank (Sharon) Taylor also of Savannah, GA; Freddie Taylor of Ridgeland, SC and one sister, Josephine Taylor of Philadelphia, PAFuneral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 3, 2009 at St. Luke Baptist Church with burial in Low Bottom Cemetery.
