Elaine Elizabeth Farrow

July 3, 1935 — June 11, 2013

Elaine Elizabeth Farrow, 77, of Bluffton, S.C. died peacefully on Tuesday, June 11, 2013, while at Savannah Memorial Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Andrew Chapel, Pinckney Colony Road, Bluffton, S.C. on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at 11:30am. Sauls Funeral Home will be handling funeral arrangements. Elaine is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Thomas (Tom) Farrow, five children (Thomas, David, James, Elizabeth, and Michael), two grandchildren (David Farrow and B. Miller Farrow), two brothers (Joseph Skrepich and Ray Lawrence), and numerous family members and friends. Elaine was born in Lorain, Ohio to Joseph and Elizabeth Skrepich on July 3, 1935. She graduated from Lorain High School in 1953. While attending Ohio University she met her husband, Tom. Elaine graduated from Ohio University in 1957 and went on to teach first grade at Garfield Elementary School in Lorain, Ohio. Elaine and Tom were married on June 20, 1959 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lorain, Ohio. Elaine loved life and enjoyed hearing stories about family members and friends. Tom's career kept the family on the move, which allowed them to create lasting friendships with people all around the country. Elaine took a sincere interest in everyone she met. Her loving touch left a lasting impression on all those who knew her. She will be dearly missed by all. May she rest in peace with God. The family requests any memorial donations be made to Pope John Paul II Catholic School, PO Box 1260, Bluffton, SC 29910. Memorial Mass at 11:30 pm, Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at St. Andrews Chapel, Pinckney Colony Road, Bluffton.
