Elaine M. McGee, age 88, passed away peacefully at her home in Hardeeville, South Carolina, on June 22, 2026, surrounded by the love of her three children.

Born on April 10, 1938, in Winthrop, Massachusetts, Elaine was the daughter of Robert P. Corcoran and Marguerite H. (Keefe) Corcoran. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul R. McGee, Jr., with whom she shared a loving marriage and raised their family in Melrose, Massachusetts.

Elaine lived a life defined by devotion to family, faith, and quiet strength. She found joy in volunteer work, watercolor painting, and, most importantly, spending time with those she loved. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support touched the lives of all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Kathleen Farrell of Melrose, Massachusetts, and her children, Jessica and Zackary Farrell of Melrose; Steven McGee, his wife, Marie, and their children, Colleen, Andrew, and Sean McGee of Bedford, New Hampshire; and Brian McGee, his wife, Tonilyn, and their children, Nicholas and Molly McGee of Wakefield, Massachusetts. She also leaves behind many loving relatives and friends.

Elaine will be remembered for her gentle spirit, generous heart, and the love she shared so freely with family and friends.

Funeral services will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association .

The family extends its sincere gratitude to all who provided care, comfort, and support during Elaine's final years.
