Elder Wallace E. Wright, Sr.

Elder Wallace E. Wright, Sr., age 55 of Beaufort, SC passed away at Beaufort Memorial Hospital on June 13, 2020.  Mr. Wright’s beloved wife, Almarie Witter, preceded him in death.

Mr. Wright was born May 18, 1965 in Ridgeland, SC to the late Arthur F. Wright and Nellie Taylor and lived in Ridgeland and Beaufort most of his life.

Mr. Wright is survived by his sons, Rabbi Moses Ben-Yisrael of Atlanta, GA and Johnathan Wright of Columbia, SC; his daughter, Elizabeth Wright of Hilton Head Island, SC; his brothers, Richard Wright of Beaufort, SC and Freddie Taylor Jr. of Ridgeland, SC; his sisters, all of Ridgeland, SC, Elizabeth, Lucille, Brenda and Helen Wright and three grandchildren.

Mr. Wright was a US Army veteran and a Horticulturist. In the year 2015, he was ordained an Elder in his congregation and served as the Presiding Elder of the Mount Sinai Holy Assembly, INC. He loved The Most High and the saints; he loved his children and all of his family.
