Eleanor Lucerne

Eleanor Lucerne, 95, of Bluffton, SC died Tuesday, November 25, 2014. Ms. Lucerne was born in Pittsburgh, PA on November 17, 1919, the daughter of the late Frank and Ursula Janusonis (Jenison). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Lucerne and her daughter, Patricia Kleppe. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Fleming and husband Butch of Bluffton, SC; sister, Anne Aleshunas of CA; grandchildren, Bevin Pascual and Shon Fleming; and great-grandchildren, Loghan, Abbey, Mason, Andrew, and Aden. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, December 1, 2014 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 333 Fording Island Road, Bluffton, SC 29909. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to St. Jude Children's Research.
