Elizabeth Fuller, also known as Bea and "BB", age 84, of Bluffton, SC, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026.
Born on April 20, 1942, in Illinois, Bea was the beloved daughter of Pete and Jean Weaver of Hilton Head Island. Pete was a Captain in the Navy, and they spent Bea's childhood moving to different Naval Bases. One of her favorite homes was in Puerto Rico because she had a horse and would often speak highly of her time there. She went on to have the fortune of owning her own horse in Bluffton for many years.
As an infant Bea was adopted by Pete and Jean Weaver. In the past few years with the help of DNA technology, she was fortunate enough to find her birth family. It was discovered that they had been searching for her. The reunion with her birth family was magical and the bond between the families is strong.
Bea spent her later years dedicated to rescuing English Springer Spaniels. She opened her home and her heart to many of them. Her last rescue was Rowdy who is currently living with Bea's oldest son.
Bea lived in Rose Hill for almost 30 years. She grew to know all her neighbors through her countless hours and miles of walking White Oak Circle. Everyone looked out for her and each of her neighbors were so special to her.
Bea is survived by her sons Michael T. Fuller and Will Fuller. Her daughter, Michelle Fuller Richardson. Her two beloved grandchildren, Michael F. Fuller and Samantha Fuller. Her daughter-in-law Jill Fuller and her cousins Lynn, Paulette, Ellen, Pam and Sherry, Terry and Gary. She was preceded in death by her brother Larry, who is in Arlington National Cemetery and Pete and Jean Weaver.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 1:00 pm at The Church of the Palms at 1425 Okatie Hwy, Okatie, SC 29909.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations in Bea's honor to go to English Springer Rescue America (ESRA) to https://givebutter.com/ESRAdonation
The family extends its gratitude to The Church of the Palms and to Rory for their support and care.
Bea will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
