Elizabeth Royce Steinert

Elizabeth Royce Steinert, age 91, of Bluffton, SC and formerly of Sanibel Island, FL died Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Bloom at Bluffton Senior Living. Mrs. Steinert was born on January 15, 1924 in Jacksonville, NJ, the daughter of the late George Magnus Royce, Sr. and Ruth Elizabeth Hushebeck Steinert. She was a homemaker for many years, caring for her family. Civically, she was a member of several organizations in Hamilton Township, NJ, including the Order of the Eastern Star, the local Rainbow Girls Assembly, where she served as a Mother Advisor, and also as a Leader for the Camp Fire Girls. She also volunteered with the Red Cross and participated in synchronized swimming. Mrs. Steinert was preceded in death by her loving husband of 75 years, Joseph Steinert, II. She is survived by her son, Joseph Steinert, III (Joan) of Mount Laurel, NJ; daughter, Sharyn Ann Donaldson of Bluffton, SC; grandchildren, Micah Donaldson, Cara Gonnello, Jessica Moore, and David Steinert; great-grandchildren, Sarah, Charlie, Julia, Matthew, Owen, and Sarah; and great great-granddaughter, Marley.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Sunday, January 17, 2016 at the Waterside Chapel at Palmetto Bluff, Bluffton, SC.
