Elizabeth Zondag

Elizabeth Zondag, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away unexpectedly on July 19, 2023, at the young age of 68 in Bluffton, South Carolina.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband of 31 years, John; her brother, Marek; her daughter, Marzenka; her grandchildren, Jacob, Adrian, and Annika Elizabeth.

Elizabeth was born on November 7, 1954 in Warsaw, Poland to Wladyslawa and Kazimierz Wieckowski. She moved to United States in 1985 and had a successful career in the medical field.  She retired at the age of 64 and moved with her husband to Bluffton, South Carolina. Elizabeth loved spending time with her family, going to the beach, reading books, walking, and listening to her favorite band, ABBA. She touched the lives of those around her with her selfless love, giving heart, kindness, and compassion. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever remain in our hearts. She will be missed.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023, from 3-5 pm at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd, Bluffton, South Carolina.
