Ellen McCranie Peavey, 63, widow of Reverend Dr. Willie Mack Peavey, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2009 at her home in Hardeeville, SC.She was born in Waycross, GA on December 4, 1945. She was the daughter of John McCranie Jr. and the late Louise Taylor McCranie.She was a homemaker. She was the Queen of Tea Time and Pearls Red Hat Chapter. She was a member of Friends of Hardeeville Library. She was a member of the Hardeeville United Methodist Church. She was a member and Past President of the Hardeeville Business Association.She is survived by her father, John McCranie Jr. of Lakeland, FL; two sons, Raymond J. Peavey (Mark) of Hardeeville, SC and Richard E. Peavey (Wendy) of Bluffton, SC; one brother, John McCranie III of Lakeland, FL; one sister, Molly Sauls (Gary) of Furman, SC; and grandchildren, Richard E. Peavey Jr., Miranda Peavey and Corianne Peavey. She was predeceased by one son, W. Mack Peavey III.Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 pm, Thursday, March 5, 2009 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton, SC. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Hardeeville Library, P.O.
