Elva Way Albertson, 88, of Bluffton, SC, widow of Iva William (Gene) Albertson, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at her home.She was born in Summerton, SC on September 16, 1920. She was the daughter of the late Charlton and Blanche Way.She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Community Bible Church of Beaufort, SC. She was a former member of the Andrews Chapel United Methodist Church and a member of the Missionary Society.She is survived by four daughters, Gloria Anne (Philip) Howell of Hopkins, SC, Tommie (Rusty) Clemmer and Debbie (Loren) Bozarth all of Bluffton, SC, Jo (Bob) Brunson of Ridgeland, SC; stepdaughter, Linda (James) Porter of Liberty, SC; two stepsons, Harold (Faye) Albertson and Billy (Traci) Albertson all of Liberty, SC; grandchildren, Amy Jo, Nikki, Sylvia, Elizabeth, Russ IV, Sarah, Anne Marie, Matthew, Robin, Cindy, Dodie, Tonya, Bill, Joseph, Lynn, Jenny and several great grands.Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, May 9, 2009 in the Andrews Chapel United Methodist Church, Summerton, SC with burial in the church cemetery. Mrs. Albertson will lie in state in the Andrews Chapel from 1:00 pm until the hour of the service.
