Elynor Dawson Carter Price

Elynor Dawson Carter Price, 77 of Ridgeland, SC passed away at her daughter’s home on April 30, 2017. Elynor was born in Ridgeland, SC on February 9, 1940 to the late Joseph Randolph Carter Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Dawson Carter. Elynor was retired from the South Carolina Forestry Commission; Co-Chairman of First Gopher Hill Festival; and designed the official Seal of Jasper County. Elynor is survived by her daughters, Ami Price Stone and Randi Price both of Ridgeland, SC; her brother, Randolph Carter of Port St. Lucie, FL; her sister, Elizabeth Carter Mills Roberts (John) of Emporia, KS; her grandchildren, Luke C. Stone, Kasey Driggers (James), Matthew R. Tillotson, Michael W. Tillotson and Taylor C. Tillotson and two great grandchildren. Private family services will be held at a later date.
