Emily Johnson-Brown was born on September 21, 1931 to the late Lester Stanley and Myrtie Polk Stanley.
Emily worked as a registered nurse where she found joy in helping others. Emily enjoyed traveling and entertaining family and friends.
Emily is survived by one brother, Jack (Louise) Stanley of Columbia, SC; children, son, Charles (Emma Jean) Johnson of Varnville, SC; daughter, Mildred (Midge) Drawdy of Hardeeville, SC; son David Johnson of Hardeeville, SC; son, the late, James JJ (Sharon) Johnson of Hardeeville, SC.
Emily also has 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
