Emma Fisher

Emma Fisher, 95, of Saint Helena Island, SC passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024.

Emma was born in New York City, NY.  As a young child she moved with her family to Bridgewater NJ, where she met her late husband, Marion Jack Fisher with whom she was married to for 46 years.

Emma received her nursing degree in 1948 and worked as a registered nurse for over fifty years.  In her spare time, Emma enjoyed the quiet activities of reading, writing and gardening of all types, but in particular growing her assortment of beautiful, fragrant roses.

In addition to her husband, Jack Fisher, Emma is preceded in death by her parents Peter and Inez (Viera) Gonzalez; a son, Jack W. Fisher; a daughter, Lisa L. Wolf; a brother, David Gonzalez; and a sister, Virginia Fedor.

Surviving is her son, David Fisher and his wife, Donna of Saint Helena Island SC; a brother Mark Gonzalez; and 3 grandchildren Veronica Wolf, Evan Fisher, and Quentin Fisher, 2 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
