Emma Marie (Vogel) Joyce

Emma Marie (Vogel) Joyce of Bluffton, SC died Saturday, February 27, 2016 at NHC-Bluffton. Emma was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 11, 1915. She is survived by her daughter Patricia Keck, son-in-law Ralph Keck, her son Michael Joyce, her daughter-in-law Denise Joyce, her granddaughter Kathleen Garrison and husband David Garrison, grandson Michael Keck and wife Allison Keck, and granddaughter Danielle Logan and husband Robert Logan and four great-grandchildren who filled her with great pride and joy, Colin Keck, Grace, Gianna and Joey Logan. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph Joyce, her mother Theresa Vogel Imhof, her father Henry Vogel, and her loving stepfather August Imhof. May angels come to greet her and lead her into Paradise. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Monday, February 29, 2016 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton, SC 29910. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 333 Fording Island Road, Bluffton, SC 29909. Final services and burial will take place in Middle Village, NY under the direction of George Werst Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to any charity of choice.
