English Ambrose Malphrus

English Ambrose Malphrus, 93 of Summerville, SC and widow of Clifford R. Malphrus passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at the Presbyterian Home in Summerville, SC. She was born in Ridgeland, SC on November 2, 1921 to the late Mack and Pinkie Ambrose. She is survived by her son, Clifford Ray Malphrus Jr. (Cynthia) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one daughter, Connie Malphrus-Judson (Jack) of Summerville, SC; one brother, E. L. Ambrose of Ridgeland, SC; three grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Malphrus, Tammy Barnhill Ratliff and Paul Evans Barnhill; and three great grandchildren, Rob Ratliff, English Ratliff and Price Barnhill. She was predeceased by her husband; two brothers, Ledford and Hoke Ambrose and her sister, Virginia Cusack. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm, Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W. Adams St., Ridgeland, SC with burial in the Ridgeland Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 3:00 pm until the hour of the service. Friends and family are invited to a remembrance drop-in from 4 to 6 pm on July 19th at the home of Jack and Connie Judson.
