Ernest Henry "Butch" Mensing

Ernest Henry "Butch" Mensing, 73, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital in Beaufort, SC. He was born in Huntington, NY on February 16, 1940 to the late Ernest H. and Dorothy Barning Mensing. He was a retired farmer and a former golf course superintendant. He was a Methodist and a member of Commack Methodist Church in Commack, NY. He is survived by his brother, Robert Mensing of Huntington, NY and sister, Jean Walker of Danbury, CT. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at the Ridgeland Cemetery in Ridgeland, SC. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 17, 2013 from 5 til 7 pm at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W. Adams St., Ridgeland, SC.
